Our Board

Tom Stocco – Member at Large

One of the founding Riverwest residents in 2003, stays involved even though now lives in Shorewood. Longtime board president. Served on credit union boards, CFO of Van Horn Auto Group.

Clare Lewis – Vice President

Clare has been a Riverwest community member and homeowner since 1989 after attending college at UWM.She  chose Riverwest for the vitality of the community and also to purchase my duplex and build financial security for myself. I already had several friends in the arts community here and early on I joined the board of Riverwest Artist Association where I worked on several projects including Art Walk. In 2001, I joined the Riverwest Co-op and Café as a member and volunteer and quickly joined the board. Currently, I curate the art in the café and sit on the finance committee in addition to maintaining my weekly volunteer shift in the store. She joined RIC in 2003, swinging a sledge hammer and carrying debris at the Holton Street project. It was gratifying to see that burnt-out shell become a home. Professionally, I am a psychotherapist which is very satisfying, but my community connections with groups like RIC have given me lifelong friendships and a place to make my corner of the world a better place.

Lindsey Tauber – President

Lindsey has lived in the Riverwest neighborhood since 2005 and has been a long-time RIC supporter. She joined the RIC Board in March 2020.
